Manage your production with Weaver WMS
The production module in the Weaver WMS warehouse system supports the management of production processes within the warehouse. Its main task is to track production stages, control resources, raw materials and materials necessary to produce goods and monitor work progress. It also enables synchronization of activities with other warehouse processes, such as order picking, storage of goods and shipping.
Thanks to this, the production module increases operational efficiency, minimizes errors and facilitates supervision of the entire production cycle.
Defining job groups
In this tab we can define our production stations, it can help in the functioning of production in the system.
Production orders
They can include processes such as assembling a finished product from several components or transforming one large raw material into several smaller parts. Such orders can consist of many steps carried out at different production stations. Ultimately, they lead to the production of one final material and possible by-products.
In the materials tab you can edit the recipe of a given material, in the example on the screenshot, to make the "Metal10x10" material you need to use 0.25 pieces of the "Metal20x20" material.
If required, you can also add by-products resulting from the production process in the materials tab.
To execute a production order, click the Add button in the "Production Orders" tab, then select the recipient and the material to be executed along with the planned quantity. After creating the order, we can check how many and what kind of raw materials we need and what processes will be performed to obtain the final product.

Production orders
They are a key element in the planning and execution of the production process, where different production orders contribute to the production of one final product. This process can be illustrated using a production tree, where each production order is responsible for the production of semi-finished products, which are finally combined into a finished product.
After pressing Production Capacity we can check the checkbox to create all production orders.
In order for them to be visible in the mobile application, you must set their status to visible to mobile devices.
